The assembly toy component according to the present invention comprises assembly pieces having fastening holes, and fastening pins which are passed through and inserted into the fastening holes so as to fasten the assembly pieces together; and the fastening holes of the assembly pieces have engaging protrusions with walls at an angle which is not parallel to the direction of insertion of the fastening pins; the fastening pins comprise first pins which are inserted directly into the fastening holes, and second pins which are inserted into the first pins; and the first pins are formed in the shape of pipes having central holes passing through both ends in line with the direction of insertion, and are formed, towards both ends, with bracing protrusions which are provided projecting in the outer circumferential direction and have a structure such that they engage with the engaging protrusions, and also are formed with at least one cut recess extending from at least one of the two ends, while the second pins are constituted such that their outside surfaces can make tight contact against the inside surfaces of the central holes of the first pins by insertion into the central holes, thereby allowing a dramatically more stable state of fastening to be achieved than with assembly toy components having fastening structures using fastening pins of the prior art. |
