PURPOSE: A method for measuring plant growth is provided to reduce measuring time and labor and to enhance accuracy of data. CONSTITUTION: A method for measuring plant growth by rotation type comprises: a step of periodically checking timer by a controller to determine the period when the plant growth is measured; a step of measuring interval between a non-contact sensor and the outer circumference of an object; and a step of storing the interval data into a memory.
