PURPOSE: A display substrate and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to improve the driving property of the display substrate. CONSTITUTION: A display substrate comprises a base substrate(101) which includes a peripheral area covering the display area, a first insulation layer(120) which is formed on the base substrate, a pixel part which includes a pixel electrode which is formed with a transparent conduction material, a first channel layer which includes a polycrystalline silicon layer on the base substrate, and a first source electrode and a first drain electrode which are separately formed on the first channel.
