PURPOSE: A system for building motion master data of a terminal including a motion sensor and a method thereof are provided to automatically operate a desired program when an external stimulus which is fit for a predetermined condition is detected. CONSTITUTION: A sensor unit(100) with a motion sensor(110) creates sense information. A signal processing unit(121) receives sense information and changes the sense information into a pattern data. An identifier input unit receives a motion identifier. A motion storing unit creates motion information by mapping the pattern data which is received from the motion identifier and the signal processing unit.
