<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery which is superior in cycle characteristics and capable of suppressing or preventing swelling when stored at high temperatures. <P>SOLUTION: The nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery is equipped with an electrode body comprised by winding or laminating a positive electrode and a negative electrode via a separator, a nonaqueous electrolytic solution, and an outer sheath body composed of an outer sheath member to house these. Between at least one of the positive electrode/negative electrode and the separator, this has a polymer support and the ratio (MO/MA) of the amount MO existing between the electrode body and the outer sheath body against the amount MA existing in the outer sheath body is 0.04 or less. Furthermore, it is more preferable that cyclic carbonate ester derivative having halogen atom is contained in the nonaqueous electrolytic solution since cycle characteristics are improved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
