METHOD FOR DETECTING MALWARE USING VITUAL MACHINE

PURPOSE: A method for detecting malicious software using a virtual machine is provided to detect a hidden malicious code which exists as an attachment in an e-mail. CONSTITUTION: It is determined whether an attachment exists in a received e-mail or not. If an attachment exists, the attachment file is executed in a virtual machine(1). It is determined whether the attachment is a preregistered malicious code or not. If the attachment is not a preregistered malicious code, the execution of the attached file is analyzed.
