PURPOSE: A video display device and remote controller are provided to increase the change speed of a broadcasting channel and sound volume. CONSTITUTION: A channel change switch(612) outputs a channel control signal to select a broadcasting channel of television. A volume change switch(613) is separately arranged in the channel change switch. The volume change switch outputs a sound control signal to control the output volume of television.
