<p>The invention relates to a method and a system simulating a production unit meant for the simultaneous computer-simulation of a production line and process with a view to planning and achieving a production unit. According to the invention, the method comprises the use of a computer program () intended to simulate discreet events, comprising a library () of flow model-specific simulation components, for implementing a library () of models simulating the equipments existing in a production line and a library () of simulation model components for modelling and simulating a production process, the two libraries () being further used for making a model () for the simulation of a production line and a model () for the simulation of the production process, the two simulation models () being interconnected by execution commands and notifying messages to obtain the model () simulating a production unit. The system employed for carrying out the method comprises: a computer program () intended to simulate discreet events, some libraries () of standard simulation and modelling components for the material flow models with simulation components specific for the modelling of a production process and with simulation components specific for the modelling of production equipments, as well as another computer program intended for the creation of new simulation models.</p> |
