<p>The invention relates to a bodybuilding apparatus meant to be used both in gym clubs and in hospitals, for recovery from certain affections. According to the invention, the apparatus consists of an asymmetrical vertical frame () resting on a floor and sustaining, at its top part, some mobile supports () for the arms, which are symmetrically mounted by means of some bolts (), while, at its bottom part, is has a sliding support () for the feet, which slides along some vertical slides (), an adjustable buffer () articulated by a rotation bearing () to the same vertical frame () which, by means of a traction cable () of a pulley mechanism (), can lift some weights (), the vertical frame () resting on some rectangular and L-shaped bases (), respectively, which support a vertical housing () accommodating the weights () and the pulley mechanism (), the mobile supports () being provided with some upholstery corner pieces () for supporting the forearms and some ribbed handles () to be gripped with the hands, the adjustable buffer () being provided with an oscillating lever () by means of which it can swing around the rotation bearing (), and at a lower end of the lever () there being mounted an indexing disc () which permits an actuating bar () to be positioned in some orifices (), so that a damping cylinder () reaches the optimal position, both in the vertical and in the horizontal plane.</p> |
