8-Sulfonyl-1,3,4,8-tetrahydro-2H-[1,4]oxazepino[6,7-e]indole derivatives and their use as 5-HT6 receptor ligands

Disclosed is a 8-sulfonyl-1,3,4,8-tetrahydro-2H-[1,4]oxazepino[6,7-e]indole derivative of formula (I), where A is N or NR5 and the other variable substituents are as defined in the specification. Also disclosed is the use of the compound for treating a 5-HT?6 receptor-related disorder, such as body weight gain or obesity.
