<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus that prevents setting error in configuring operations required for communication over a network when renewing a host device of a user who uses the image processing apparatus, or adding any host device. <P>SOLUTION: An MFP 100 connected with a server and has a means for enabling data communication includes: a network communication section 104 for inputting operation information for enabling communication in the server; a display section 101 for displaying setting items for operation settings based on the operation information input by the network communication section 104; a control section 105 which tries communication for selecting a plurality of setting items from the operation information; a determination section 106 for determining whether the operation settings are effective or not on the basis of a result of the trial of the control section 105; and a storage section 103 for storing the operation settings effective for communication in accordance with the determination of the determination section 106. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
