<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a moving space needed for largely drawing a platen unit forward small as much as possible, and to prevent pinching during opening and closing an opening/closing lid. <P>SOLUTION: The opening/closing lid 4 for opening and closing an opening 3 of a printer 1 for roll paper is coupled to a platen unit 30 supported by the a six-node link mechanism 42. The opening/closing lid 4 slidably couples a lower cover 35 rotatably supported by a lower end of a printer body frame 31 and an upper cover 36 rotatably supported by the lower side of the rear end of the recording paper discharge guide 5 arranged at the front end of the platen unit 30 in a direction orthogonal to the rotational axis lines of the respective covers. The opening/closing lid 4 revolves around the lower end as the support point while the lower cover 35 and the upper cover 36 slide and follow a variation of a distance between the rotational axis lines of the respective covers when the platen unit 30 moves along a rectilinear first moving locus S1 and a circular second moving locus S2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
