<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signalling device which can be easily and inexpensively manufactured and satisfies photometry requirements of a legislation. <P>SOLUTION: A light signalling device 2 is particularly designed for an automobile, and includes a reflector 10 with a reflecting surface and a screen 7 arranged opposite to the reflector and having a semi-reflecting zone. The screen is arranged away from the reflector and forms a cavity 5 with the reflector. Light rays of the light source penetrate the cavity, and a part of these rays are transmitted by the semi-reflecting zone, and others of these rays are reflected by the semi-reflecting zone, then are reflected by the reflector to the cavity in such a way as to generate a repetitive visual effect of depth. The screen (7) is configured and arranged in relation to a direction of emission of the light source in such a way that the other part of the light rays leaves the cavity at a position of the screen where the light rays do not enter the semi-reflecting zone. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
