<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin molded article capable of ensuring necessary rigidity when the article is stored, covered by a lid, or used for stacking in steps or the like, performing "volume reduction" by a simple operation, and keeping the reduced volume after the volume reduction to achieve "waste volume reduction". <P>SOLUTION: The resin molded article 10 includes: an inside surface being a central bottom face or a central top plate; an outside surface 12 being raised on this inside surface, being continuous through an inner wall 12a, and surrounding the outside of the inside surface; a side wall part 13 formed on the outside of this outside surface 12; and a flange part 14 formed on the opening end part of this side wall part 13. On the side wall part 13, a pushing-up column 15 whose end faces toward the inside surface is formed, and a second rib 17 is formed on the outside surface 12.
