DIE ASSEMBLY AND INJECTION MOLDING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a die assembly that can form symmetric hollow parts inside when viewing an injection molded article from the upper part of a design surface of the injection molded article. SOLUTION: The die assembly includes a plurality of cavities and further a main runner 21 and a plurality of sub-runners 23. Each sub-runner 23 comprises a first sub-runner part 24 extending in a first direction, a second sub-runner part 26 extending in a second direction, and a bent part 25. Molten resin flowing through the first sub-runner part 24 along the first direction changes its direction to a third direction to flow into the bent part 25, and the molten resin flowing into the bent part 25 flows along the first or second direction and changes its direction to the third direction to flow into the second sub-runner part 26. The molten resin flowing through the second sub-runner part 26 along the second direction is injected into the cavities from a molten resin injection part. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
