The stop valve (10) has an inlet and an outlet (20), where the water treatment apparatus is connectable between inlet and outlet. A ball is provided, which comprises a continuous aperture arranged in the region of the rotating axis, over which a connection is producible between a through hole and a reversing channel. The ball has aperture outside of the rotating axis controlled by a back-flow preventer.
