<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair style selection system and method in which a matching hair style for a subject is accurately selected on the basis of various pieces of information analyzed using the face photograph data of the subject and in which a synthesized image of the hair style and the face photograph data of the subject can be outputted/displayed, and also to provide a recording medium with a program stored for achieving the method. <P>SOLUTION: In the system, the face image data of the subject are analyzed according to each of a plurality of criteria, computing a conformity value, on the basis of the analytical result, for each of the hair styles of the hair style group which is preliminarily stored in a storage, and extracting a plurality of hair styles of high recommendation in the hair style group in accordance with the conformity value for each hair style. Then, a list of extraction results is output/displayed, with simulation performed synthesizing hair styles selected from the list of the extraction results and the face image data of the subject, and with the synthesized simulation image output/displayed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
