PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain a predetermined washing performance with a small amount of water. SOLUTION: The dishwasher includes: a body incorporating a washing tub 2; a washing means 13 provided in the washing tub 2, for jetting washing water to an object to be washed; a circulation route for connecting the washing means 13 and a water storage part 9 provided on the inner bottom part of the washing tub 2; and a washing pump 12 provided inside the circulation route. A first inclination part 29 and a second inclination part 30 both inclined downwards to the water storage part 9 are formed at the inner bottom part 14 of the washing tub 2, a heating means for heating the washing water is provided above the first inclination part 29, and a water stream shut-off part is provided adjacently between the first inclination part 29 and the second inclination part 30. Thus, the generation of a swirl inside the water storage part is suppressed, and the dishwasher which obtains a stable washing performance is provided. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
