PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screw compressor in which a large-sized bearing is advantageously disposed, in geometric structure determined by a distance between rotor axes of a rotor shaft of a screw rotor and a rotor shaft disposed in parallel with the rotor shaft. SOLUTION: A first recess part 19 arranged coaxial with a through hole 18 and having a larger diameter than the through hole 18 is disposed on a rotor chamber 32 side of a motor chamber 65, and a first bearing 69 supporting the first rotor 46 shaft and having an outer diameter D<SB>M</SB>is disposed to the first recess part 19. A second recess part 24 is disposed at a position different from that of the first recess part 19 in an axial direction to house a motor-side rotor 47 on a motor chamber 65 side of the rotor chamber 32, and a second bearing 57 supporting the motor-side rotor shaft 47 and having an outer diameter D<SB>F</SB>is disposed in the second recess part 24. The screw compressor is constituted to satisfy an expression of (D<SB>M</SB>+D<SB>F</SB>)×1/2≥D<SB>CD</SB>among D<SB>M</SB>, D<SB>F</SB>, and the distance D<SB>CD</SB>between axial centers of first and second screw rotors 42, 43.
