<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circularly polarized light isolating sheet which displays without coloring, even in the case of oblique observation and having proper selective reflection characteristic, a liquid crystal display device which includes the circularly polarized light isolating sheet; and to provide a method for manufacturing the circularly polarized light isolating sheet with high productivity, by forming a resin layer having cholesteric regularity having a wide selective reflection band in one layer. <P>SOLUTION: A photopolymerizable composition contains a photopolymerization initiator, having an average molar extinction coefficient of 2,000 M<SP>-1</SP>cm<SP>-1</SP>or more at a wavelength of 350-400 nm, and a photopolymerizable liquid crystal compound, having an average molar extinction coefficient of 1,500 M<SP>-1</SP>cm<SP>-1</SP>or more at a wavelength of 350-400 nm. The photopolymerizable composition is applied on a base material and a coating film is obtained; and a light having a wavelength of 350-400 nm at least is irradiated on the coating film to polymerize the photopolymerizable liquid crystal compound, thereby forming the resin layer with cholesteric regularity, the width of which has a selective reflection band of 150 nm or more, in one layer and the circularly polarized light isolating sheet is obtained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
