PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an internal combustion engine equipped with a supercharger, in which the fuel injected into a compressor is gasified easily and the compressor efficiency is high. SOLUTION: A suction pipe 3 guides the suction gas to a combustion chamber 23 of an engine 2. The compressor 41 of the supercharger 4 comprises a shaft part 411 arranged in the suction pipe 3 rotatably and a vane part 412 provided at the outer periphery of the shaft part 411, and the supercharger 4 can heighten the pressure of the suction gas by rotating the compressor 41 around the shaft part 411. An injector 5 is installed in a position upstream of the compressor 41 in the suction gas flowing direction and apart a certain distance from the compressor 41. The injector 5 can jet the fuel in a shape of hollow cone to the shaft part 411 of the compressor 41. An ECU 6 controls the fuel jetting out of the injector 5. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
