<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power conversion apparatus securing the waterproofness of a vent hole without increasing the number of components. <P>SOLUTION: In the power conversion apparatus, an electronic component group configuring part or the whole of a power conversion circuit is housed in a case 3. In the power conversion apparatus, a case sidewall 31 includes the vent hole 6 communicating the inside and outside of the case 3 in the same plane, and a plurality of inserting holes 8 inserting a high-tension cable 9 for power feeding into the case 3. A waterproof wall 61 vertically projected to the case sidewall 31 is formed to the vent hole 6, and the lower side of the waterproof wall 61 is opened.
