PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To calculate link strength as a value based on inter-user communication quantity. SOLUTION: A link strength calculation device includes: a user information storage means for storing link information, communication history information and link strength in association with one another; a communication point storage means for storing communication quantity and a communication point in association with each other; a user information obtaining means for obtaining the link information and communication history information about a specific user; a communication quantity calculation means for calculating the communication quantity between the specific user and the user having a relation with the specific user from the link information and the communication history information; a communication point obtaining means for obtaining the communication point associated with the communication quantity from the communication point storage means; a link strength calculation means for calculating new link strength on the basis of the communication point and the link strength between the specific user obtained from the user information storage means and the user having a relation with the specific user; and a result output means for outputting the calculation result.
