PURPOSE: A hybrid working machine is provided to rapidly charge a battery by controlling the torque of a hydraulic pump. CONSTITUTION: A hybrid working machine comprises an engine(11), a hydraulic pump(21), multiple hydraulic actuators(24c~24h), an operation unit(25), a driving speed conversion switch(41), a generator(31), a battery(33), and a controller. The hydraulic pump is powered by the engine. The hydraulic actuators have hydraulic motors(24a,24b). The generator is connected to the engine. The controller powers the generator using electricity from the battery controls the output torque of the engine.
