A BRAILLE POINTS PRINTING APPARATUS

PURPOSE: A braille printing device is provided to print clear and precise braille on a printed matter at the printing speed by forming a row of braille points at the same time. CONSTITUTION: A braille printing device comprises a braille rod support(30), braille rods(20), a braille plate member(40), a braille rod driving unit(50), a print pressing plate(60), and a pressing plate driving unit(70). The brallie rods are installed on the braille rod support and allowed to move up and down so that brallie points are formed on a printed matter located in a printing position when brallie rods are raised. The braille plate member supports the printed matter and coupled with the brallie rod being projected and retracted. The brallie rod drive unit independently raises the brallie rods. The print pressing plate is installed to face the braille plate member with the printed matter interposed and allowed to move up and down so that brallie points are formed on the printed matter when the print pressing plate is lowered and coupled with the raised brallie rods. The pressing plate driving unit selectively transfers the print pressing plate towards the braille plate member.
