PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve improvement of the production efficiency and the reduction of cost. SOLUTION: The filament winding automation system includes a winding apparatus which winds fiber bundles R uncoiled from head parts 12, 13 round a mandrel M1, an installation/discharge apparatus 5 which installs a pre-winding mandrel at the winding position and discharges a post-winding mandrel from the winding position, a delivery apparatus 3 which holds the fiber bundles and delivers them from the post-winding mandrel to the pre-winding mandrel M1, and a cutting apparatus for cutting the fiber bundles. The delivery apparatus, which comprises delivery rings 31, 32 for delivering the fiber bundles from the post-winding mandrel to the pre-winding mandrel, has a front delivery ring that contacts the axial-direction end part of the post-winding mandrel and a back delivery ring for the pre-winding mandrel to be next installed at the winding position; links the front delivery ring and the back delivery ring in the axial direction through a linking means; cuts the fiber bundles between the front delivery ring and the back delivery ring after the fiber bundles are wound round the front delivery ring; and discharges the post-winding mandrel.
