FIELD: process engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of foamed glass production. Granulator functional units are made up of at least four container-type modules. First module accommodates glass breakage washing machines, glass crushers and mills with screens to produce glass powder fractions of not over 1 mm, and storage tanks. Second module accommodates filling tanks for keeping and mixing water, liquid glass and foam-former ingredients, proportioners and mixers intercommunicated via pipelines with common mix outlet. Third module accommodates glass powder and water storage tanks that may turn through 90 degrees, fine mills to produce glass powder fractions not exceeding 0,005 mm, planet-and-auger mixer, plate-type granulator, drum drier and granules separator.
