Method and apparatus for measuring the thickness of an elastic vein compression orthosis in its taut state under wearing conditions

The method involves determining a distance separating a reference point from an image of a standard wire (14) and a relative point of the image of a profile of a leg-model by analysis of the image. An orthosis is threaded on the leg-model. Another distance (d) separating the reference point and another relative point of the image of the profile of the leg-model equipped with the threaded orthosis are determined. Difference between the distances is calculated, where the difference is representative of thickness of the orthosis in a state tensed under carrying conditions. An independent claim is also included for measuring equipment comprising an imagery apparatus.
