<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain desired image quality independently of the transfer efficiency of a CCD imaging element. <P>SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus captures R, G, B signals (CCD RAW data) from the CCD imaging element. The imaging apparatus captures various information items such as the transfer efficiency of the CCD imaging element, the camera sensitivity at photographing, a drive frequency of the CCD imaging element at photographing, the WB gain and the number of pixels of the captured R, G, B signals, the temperature in the camera or of the CCD imaging element, and the CCD color filter arrangement of the CCD imaging element. Then the imaging apparatus revises the signal processing applied to the captured R, G, B signals in response to the captured information items so as to suppress the deterioration in the image quality due to the reduction in the transfer efficiency. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
