PURPOSE: A method and device for transmitting control information in a wireless communication system are provided to transmit a signal through a multiple antenna and a PUCCH(Physical Uplink Control Channel), thereby efficiently transmitting the control information in the wireless communication system. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of control information is joint-coded to obtain a single codeword. A first modulation symbol row is obtained from the single codeword. A plurality of spread second modulation symbol rows corresponds to a plurality of SC-FDMA(Single Carrier Frequency Division Multiplexing) symbols by each slot. The spread second modulation symbol rows are transmitted through a corresponding SC-FDMA symbol in a PUCCH(Physical Uplink Control Channel). Pre-coding for a single carrier feature is applied to the spread second modulation symbol rows by an SC-FDMA symbol.
