The invention relates to the logging industry, namely to the small-sized vehicles for transport of round timber (half-trunks, assortments). The invention purpose is to facilitate loading process of round timber and its transportation. The problem is solved by means of a two-wheeled jinker equipped with a mechanism loading round wood. The jinker for transporting round timber consists of two running wheels, an oscillating frame with two stops and a protective guard, two limiting chains, two towing handles, two racks, U-shaped bearing axle with a rack bar and a log chain. When loading timber the jinker is placed by its rear part so that the timber end is placed between the running wheels at a distance of 0.5 ... from the bearing axle and its longitudinal axis coincides with the longitudinal axis of jinker in the direction of motion. The frame oscillating in the longitudinal plane comes back to the rear position resting on the stops and racks. The timber choking is carried out using a chain. When driving "forward" the thrust force is transmitted through a drawbar to the frame, which resting on the stops returns to the forward position, lifting and loading the timber on the rack bar the end of the rack, of bearing axle of the jinker. Motion of the oscillating frame "forward" is limited by thechains, and "back" motion – by the racks. To prevent accidental "forward" displacement of timber on the jinker at its loading or transportation a protective grid is installed on the frame. When unloading the timber is released from the log chain, then, the jinker leaves from the timber. |
