PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain the stable combustion of an internal combustion multi-fuel engine upon light load. SOLUTION: In a structure having an intake control valve on an upstream side of a CNG injection valve in an intake port for CNG, when a load is equal to or below a predetermined value Lth, an opening of an intake throttle valve 26 is reduced as a load is small so that an equivalent ratioϕof CNG becomes larger than a combustion maintenance reference valueϕmin in a given region including a feed point of a diesel in a cylinder 5.
