PURPOSE: A method for extracting discerning a touch coordinate of a complex sensor module using an infrared sensor and a linear image sensor is provided to perform multi point input through a simple equation using a composite sensor. CONSTITUTION: A method for extracting discerning a touch coordinate of a complex sensor module using an infrared sensor and a linear image sensor comprises steps of: extracting an angle(θ) between a border line of a touch screen and a touched object; extracting y coordinate which calculates the length of y on xy coordinate through a first and a second infrared ray sensors; and extracting x coordinate through a trigonometrical function.
