<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illumination system which can be incorporated efficiently into an illumination fixture, and efficiently constituted for the final usage use. <P>SOLUTION: A semiconductor illumination assembly 10 is equipped with a base part wall 14 to have a first side 18 and a second side, and a socket to have a first cavity 22 outside the first side and a second cavity outside the second side. A contact is held by the base part wall 14. The contact has a fitting finger part extended toward the first cavity 22 and the second cavity. An illumination PCB 30 is removably arranged in the first cavity 22, and when at least one piece of illumination component 32 is electrically connected to the fitting finger part to correspond to the contact, electric power is supplied. A driver PCB is arranged in the second cavity, and electrically connected to the fitting finger part to correspond to the contact.
