PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flux recycling apparatus capable of recycling flux used in the submerged arc welding of a spiral steel tube and manufacturing the spiral steel tube of high quality. SOLUTION: This invention relates to the flux recycling apparatus 10 for collecting and recycling excessive flux when forming a spiral steel tube 11 by the submerged arc welding. The flux recycling apparatus includes a magnetic force sorting machine 19 for removing magnetic materials in the used flux in a wet state which is sucked and collected from a part subjected to the submerged arc welding, a grain size sorting machine 22 which is arranged on the downstream side of the magnetic force sorting machine and collects flux in a wet state while removing slag and dust from the used flux from which the magnetic materials are removed, a drier 23 which is arranged on the downstream side of the grain size sorting machine and dries the flux in a wet state until becoming in a state in which the flux is re-usable for the submerged arc welding, and a conveyer 25 for feeding the dried flux to a welding part 16.
