PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an auger type ice-making machine making ice having good quality obtained by compressing thin ice sufficiently frozen on an inner wall face of an ice-making cylinder. SOLUTION: The auger type ice-making machine 20 includes: an ice-making part 21 scraping up, by rotation of an auger 23, thin ice obtained by ice buildup of drinkable water supplied from a water supply tank 60 on the inner wall face of the ice-making cylinder 24 in which an ice-making machine evaporation pipe 55 is wound around the outer peripheral face to produce ice chips; and an ice storage part 30 storing the produced ice chips and carrying out the ice chips by opening an ice carrying-out port 34 based on ice carrying out instruction.
