<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for enhancing a blend of one or more properties of polyhydroxyalkanoate (PHA) components. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided a blend comprising a first PHA and a second PHA, wherein the first PHA is poly(3-hydroxybutyrate) homopolymer, the second PHA is a copolymer having a first comonomer and a second comonomer, the first comonomer is 3-hydroxybutyrate, and the second comonomer is selected from 3-hydroxyoctanoate, 4-hydroxybutyrate, 3-hydroxydecanoate, 3-hydroxydodecanoate, or 3-hydroxydodecenoate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
