PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a mechanism of the entire three-side cutting device, and to easily enhance abutment/aligning accuracy of a booklet in the three-side cutting machine. SOLUTION: The booklet P to be cut placed on a conveying passage 21 is pushed/advanced onto a cutting plate 26 of the three-side cutting machine by a pusher 22 while making a back surface as a leading part and is conveyed-in to a cutting position surrounded by L-shaped stopper plates 28 at both sides. Thereafter, the pusher 22 is retreated by a stroke amount set by an input device and advanced, and the end of the booklet conveyed-in to the cutting position is abutted/aligned. Further, the L-shaped stopper plates 28 are left from the cutting plate 26 in a lateral direction by a stroke amount set by the input device and is returned, the top/bottom side of the booklet conveyed-in to the cutting position is abutted/aligned, and the abutting/aligning action is repeated by the abutting/aligning number set by the input device.
