PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To drive an ultrasonic vibrator by a resonance frequency regardless of the change of external factors such as the number or kinds of endoscopes to be cleaned with ultrasonic wave. SOLUTION: An endoscope 12 is provided with an RFID tag 12a storing an endoscope ID. A cleaning and disinfecting apparatus 10 is provided with a tag reader 27a. The memory 51 of the cleaning and disinfecting apparatus 10 stores a range information table 75 wherein the endoscope IDs of two or more kinds of the endoscopes 12, and a center frequency C and a frequency range Δf suitable for each endoscope 12, corresponding to each other. A control range setting part 72 reads the center frequency C and the frequency range Δf corresponding to the endoscope ID by referring to the range information table 75 on the basis of the endoscope ID read by the tag reader 27a before ultrasonic cleaning.
