<p>A magnet catch comprises a magnet holder in which a magnet is provided, a slider into which the magnet holder is inserted, and a housing in which the magnet holder and the slider are mounted. The magnet holder comprises a housing having a screw thread formed on the outer periphery thereof and holds the magnet, etc. therein. The slider has a screw thread which is formed on the inner periphery thereof and into which the magnet holder is inserted. The magnet can be extracted and retracted by the pivoting of the magnet holder. A magnet cap is fitted to the other end of the magnet holder to prevent the magnet and yokes from coming out of position, and the magnet cap has a contact section which makes contact with the inner periphery of the slider. In the magnet catch thus configured, the contact of the contact section of the magnet cap with the inner peripheral surface of the slider generates friction in the region of the contact, and as a result, after being rotated, the magnet holder does not come loose and change the position thereof.</p> |
