PURPOSE: An apparatus for authenticating other portable terminal in a mobile terminal and a method thereof are provided to issue an authentication in a mobile terminal through an authentication channel such as an LLC(Location-limited Channel). CONSTITUTION: A method for authenticating other portable terminal in a mobile terminal comprises steps of: receiving a first seed from an authentication response terminal through an authentication channel and transmitting a second seed to the authentication response terminal; creating the first seed, the second seed, and an opened key; and transmitting the authentication to the authentication response terminal. |
