<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing/sorting apparatus having relatively easily increased treatment efficiency in washing and sorting vegetables before shipped. <P>SOLUTION: A transport path for washing 2 is formed by a plurality of brush rolls 9 with central axes 9B arranged in parallel and in a U-shape in the front view. Sorting rolls 24 having diameters smaller than the roll diameters at the bristle end of the brush rolls 9, are provided coaxially with the central axes 9b.
