Fin-standing aerodynamic beverage container

Disclosed herein are flying beverage bottles having aerodynamic fins positioned to provide a stand to the bottle in a stable resting position having contact between the bottle body and the resting surface at the fins. The center of the bottle body bottom may not contact the resting surface. Fins may be positioned on opposing sides, in a circumference, or with rotational symmetry providing balance and permitting transport of the bottle through a track. The fins may be straight or angled with respect to the center of the bottle body. The bottle shape may be stackable, such that the fins of one bottles fits into said recess formed in another bottle. The lower portion of a bottle may be boat-tailed.
