PURPOSE: An apparatus for testing the thermal fatigue of a mat for a catalyst converter is provided to implement an atmosphere for a thermal fatigue test similar to the actual vehicle driving condition. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for testing the thermal fatigue of a mat for a catalyst converter comprises a setting unit, an inner heater, an outer heater, a cooling fan, and a suction pipe. The setting unit(20) is installed within the chamber of a frame to place a catalytic converter being tested. The inner heater(30) is installed within the carrier of the catalytic converter. The outer heater(40) is arranged outside the catalytic converter. The cooling fan(50) is arranged under the setting unit. The suction pipe(60) is arranged on the top of the setting unit.
