<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem of a conventional projector device wherein the device securing a large space as a whole is required in order to enlarge the space on the front side of an intake port or exhaust port and the whole device is enlarged. <P>SOLUTION: This projector device illuminates an image forming element by light from a light source, and projects an image on a surface to be projected. The projector device 1 includes a device casing 2, a duct casing 3, one-surface-side sirocco fans 13 and 14, and the-other-surface-side sirocco fan 15. The device casing 2 has an intake window 6 for taking in air. The inside of the duct casing 3 is partitioned into two, thereby forming a first intake passage 24 and exhaust passage 25 on one surface side and forming a second intake passage 26 on the other surface side. The one-surface-side sirocco fans 13 and 14 are fixed to the duct casing 3 in a state where the intake port 34 is made to face the first intake passage 24 and the exhaust port 35 is made to face the exhaust passage 25.
