<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of quickly and economically manufacturing an electrode for a polymer fuel cell while reducing the usage of catalytic metal such as platinum, to provide the electrode for the polymer fuel cell manufactured using the method, and to provide a membrane-electrode assembly and the polymer fuel cell using the electrode for the polymer fuel cell. <P>SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the electrode for the polymer fuel cell includes: a step of preparing a catalyst layer forming composition containing a carbon carrier, an electrolyte polymer, a metal precursor, alcoholic solvent, and water; a step of applying the catalyst layer forming composition to a carbon electrode substrate; and a step of irradiating the carbon electrode substrate with electron beams. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
