<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protective plate for a portable apparatus display device, the plate sufficiently protecting a display even when the thickness of the plate is reduced. <P>SOLUTION: The protective plate for a portable apparatus display device includes a sheet glass having a Young's modulus of not less than 75 GPa.
