<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a restart method of an OS which allows shortening the standby time of a user, while securing security when restarting the OS. <P>SOLUTION: When executing restart of the OS, an authentication module 3 authenticates authentication information to be input from an authentication information input module 2 in response to a user operation before its shutdown, and a screen lock release module 5 performs screen lock after the log-on of the OS, and obtains authentication information authenticated after screen lock or authentication information associated with the pertinent authenticated authentication information as authentication information for screen lock release from the authentication module 3, and performs the authentication of the screen lock release, and releases the screen lock. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
