PURPOSE: A supporting apparatus of power cable for an insulator is provided to be manipulated conveniently and easily even when a worker wearing an activity glove, thereby firmly supporting a power cable to an insulator. CONSTITUTION: A power cable supporting apparatus for an insulator comprises a first main body(10), a second main body(20), a locking part(30), and a pressing part(40). The first main body is comprised of a coupling hole, a first body, and a first clamp. The coupling hole is penetrated in top-down direction. A power cable holding groove is formed in a lower region of the first body. The first clamp is bent in one lower side of the first body and clamps one head side of an insulator. A second main body is comprised of a second body and a second clamp. The second body is combined with the first body in order to be able to rotate. The second clamp is bent in other lower side of the second body and clamps other head side of the insulator. The locking part is comprised of a pin guide hole, a locking pin, and a locking groove. The pin guide hole is formed in top-down direction in other side of the first body. The locking pin is inserted into the pin guide hole in top-down direction to be movable. The locking groove is formed in one side of the second body and is locked with the locking pin by the rotation of second main body. The pressing part is inserted into the coupling hole to be able to move up and down, and apply pressure to a power cable arranged between insulators.
