<p>The holder (1) has a drive shaft (22) rotatably inserted at a rear end (3) of a sleeve (2) and rotatably clamped in a chuck of a machine tool. The drive shaft is formed as a drill bit (26) comprising an insert shank (29) rotatably clamped in the chuck. A coupling region (36) of the insert shank is provided with an outer sheath (37) comprising a variable rotating circular cross-section that conforms to the cross-section of inner sheaths (23, 25) of the sleeve, where outer diameter of the outer sheath is less than or equal to inner diameter of the inner sheaths of the sleeve.
